About the State Office
The State Office is one of
PEL's four offices throughout the Commonwealth. Located in
Harrisburg and blocks away from the Capitol Building, the State Office
focuses on issues related to Pennsylvania state government and the
economic competitiveness of the state. It also coordinates statewide League
projects among the PEL offices in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, and
Wilkes-Barre.

In addition to the material on www.IssuesPA.net, the results of many of the State Office's research and analysis projects are available online, including The Capital Perspective, which provides a synopsis of each of the more detailed reports and as well as concise analyses of current topics confronting Pennsylvania state and local governments, Eye on the Capital, a newsletter which overviews current events of interest to PEL's membership, and Capital News, which provides a detailed analysis of specific issues in Pennsylvania state government as state policy makers take action.
